Line in the Sand

Coral Pink Sand Dunes

Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park

Undoubtedly a unique place sandwiched between some of the best national parks in the country, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park is worth a quick stop if you have some free time traveling between the North Rim of the Grand Canyon to Zion / Bryce Canyon. Unfortunately I happened to visit at high noon with the sun blazing its harsh light against the sands. Nevertheless after pointing my camera in front of me for an hour or so I decided to drop the lens toward the ground. Amazingly the texture and the crisp shadow of the sand dune provided an awesome photo opp.
